We apologize for the lack of news and posts. Not that there was nothing to write about, on the contrary – so much has happened, that we had no time. But we will eventually catch up and we promise to improve. There are a few things from last year, we want to share with you. So here we go!
Pack leader (the one in the cap) in action.
In December, our cheerful team for the third time went to rest on the Podlasie. This time there was one more pack member than before – Franek. A total of six twollegges and four fourlegged. Probably next time, the pack will expand too 😉
Here are some pics, unfortunately the weather is not so good for us … But anyway – it was fantastic.
While we are waiting for our little princess’ heat ( ohh yes, we do too) . .. Yesterday we were able to record a movie . It is generally almost daily situation in Wierciłapa ; ) . Dogs and our Tobiasz grow in full friendship and the two of them created the strongest bond. Years of difference ( Argo – 7 years, Tobias – 1 year ) and see how they get along with each other ( grissini circulates in both directions ) . In spare time , take a looke a at our Facebook profile.
We went to Podlasie agaign, to rest and load batteries…well as a matter of fact Barbets went there to uncharge theirs.
For the last two weeks we were having an pleasant holidays in Burgundy. Probably our best holidays so far. Weather was beautiful, fabulous surroundings but the best thing was our village cottage with private pond. Our dogs just loved it so much that we had problems with taking out from the water. Georgia learned to retrieve duck (thanks to Elaine) from the water and we are so proud for her. We had also several Charolais cows living on neighbouring field (they were looking into our windows:)), which were invited to play by our dogs (Gerogia even tried to give them a ball), but they just stood still and kept eating…
The rumor about our miracle place spread widely so we had many guests there … and their Barbets of course. There was even a day that we had around 15 dogs messing around. But this another story.
Here are some photos from France.
I think now We can say (and understand what is behind it) ….Vive le France !!!
The sping is at full in Poland, today we had over 25 C in Warsaw, so we decided to take our dogs on a trip. The best part of that trip was a stream near a parking lot.
Argo is used to swimming, but Georgia never tried swimming is such deep and fast floating water. What a surprise to us was to see her swimming like a pro. No splashes, no fear, calm and gentle style. She was so concentrated on a dummy that she did not want to play with Argo. One more thing, we don’t know where she learned this, but she is not shaking off until she gives You the dummy.
Georgia has a natural instinct to carry things (retrieving also) which You give to her. She was given a stick about a mile form the car, she carried it to to end, without loosing or biting it. Fantastic sign before the next hunting camp.
